Believe Layout

It has been a while since I have posted. Where has the time gone? I have been working on this layout for an upcoming crop. It uses the Believe paper pack as well as images from the October Stamp of the Month, Holiday Magic.

Will be prepping for the upcoming crops featuring this layout and the Christmas Card Workshops.

Christmas Cards

I hope everyone has been able to enjoy this beautiful weekend. Finally, we have had some sunny weather with blue skies. YEAH!

Also,I have finally finished the samples for the Christmas Card Workshop for November's crop, thanks to fellow consultant Leann Dudley and her fabulous workshop instructions.

  

For $25, you will make 10 cards using the Icing Top Coats and Wonderland Paper kit. You will need adhesive preferably one for vellum, pop dots and other adhesives of choice. You will receive a kit with 10 cards and envelopes, instructions and pieces all cut out. All you will do is stamp and assemble.

Dreamin with Art Philosophy

We were away on vacation for a few days. We had beautiful weather. Hopefully, we will not experience too much damage from hurricane Irene. Now that I am back, I get to play with my Cricut and the Art Philosophy Cartridge. I was so inspired by the layout in the new Fall/Winter Idea Book featuring the Dreamin paper pack. I loved the layout. It took me a few trials to figure out the dimensions of the rectangular scallop piece. I also wanted a 2 page layout, so here is my layout.

The leaves, flowers and journaling circle were all cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge.

Not really sure what type of flower this is, but I thought they look like carnations and were more "fall" themed than the roses that were pictured in the Idea Book.

The journaling circle is embellished with the new Bronze Glitz.

Not only was I having fun with my Cricut and the AP cartridge, Katie and Lizzie were cutting and designing as well. Here is what they came up with:

Mischief Layouts

Just wanted to share the 2 layouts I will be offering in September. The layouts feature the paper pack Mischief. The first layout is from the Workshop on the Go Kit  and uses the new Midnight Felt Shapes.

The second layout features Wicked, the August Stamp of the Month and Captured Moments with the Embossed Resist Technique.

Cricut Creations-Roses

Who wouldn't like to receive a bouquet of roses? It is seldom that I receive roses, so I decided to make some for myself thanks to Lisa Stenz and her fabulous tutorial at www.lisascreativecorner.blogspot.com.

They were cut at 5" with the Light Red and Pink Shade Pack in Tulip, Blush and Hollyhock.

Just got my Art Philosophy Cartridge

I just got my new Cricut cartridge today and let me tell you...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.  I made this card today for a swap this weekend using the cartridge and the new Sonoma papers and 2 new stamp sets: Unscripted and Harvest Happiness.

I love the way the Cricut cut out this rose and you can't tell from this picture, but the sentiment was also cut from the cartridge and the stamp fit perfectly to give it just a little border.

I am getting ready for a crop Saturday and a team meeting on Sunday. Lots of new stuff to play with in the next few days. Stay tuned.
