Sarita Layouts

Just want to say it is NOT fun having computer problems. Looks like I need a new laptop. Unfortunately, my laptop is in the shop and it does not look good. I have been having some connection problems and may need a new one.

But, the good thing is the new Fall/Winter Idea Book is now live and I have had a chance to play with the new Artbooking Cartridge and the new paper packs.

The Artbooking Cartridge is FABULOUS!  The cartridge comes with 700 images  including accents, borders, titles, overlays, photo mats—in standard photo sizes!—and more. The Cricut® keys are optimized for creating 12" × 12" pages in a jiffy.

During the last Workshop, the ladies had decided they want to use the Sarita papers for their next project except they wanted more of the purples and blues, so I used the Workshop On the Go guide to create these 2 layouts we will be making.  I substituted our Gypsy cardstock for the Goldrush as per instructions.

I hope the gals like it. If you are interested in any of the new product, would like an Idea Book or are interesting in hosting a Workshop, let me know.

Happy Crafting,

For Always

I loved the layout fellow consultant Wendy Coffman made using the For Always paper pack, so I cased her layouts with a few changes.

Have a great day!

Swap Projects

I was so fortunate to have participated in a swap with other CTMH consultants for the new Idea Book. I thought I would share my projects. I chose the new Claire paper pack.

For the layout, I used the new Girls Rock stamp set and the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge:

The cards were made with Paper Dolls and For A Friend

Pennants Tutorial

Pennants are very trendy in scrapbooking right now. Have you ever wondered how to make the perfect pennant cut? I can show you.

Taking your piece of paper, bring the corners together by bending the paper until the corners meet. Try not to crease the paper.

Cut from the corner to the crease at about a 45 degree angle.

Now you have the perfect pennant.

Now to make a tag/badge, you would make the opposite cut. Again take your paper, bring the corners together without making a crease.

Cut from the paper edges to the crease at a 45 degree angle.

 Now you have a tag/badge.

The February layout featuring the Buzz and Bumble paper pack uses these techiques. If you are interested in a kit, contact me and I will be happy to assist you.

Please leave me a comment to let me know if this was helpful.

Thanks alot,
