New Colors

During Convention 8 new colors were revealed. They are the new colors for the Summer Carnival and Summer Celebration Palettes. The new colors are Gypsy, Pacifica, Sunset, Cotton Candy, Lagoon, Pear, Sky, and Smoothie.

The retiring colors are Clover Meadow, Hydrangea, Orange, Star Spangled Blue, Bubblegum, Citrus Leaf, Ocean, and Watermelon.

Sunset Mini Album

Since I had some time today to play, I put together one of the Triple Play Mini Albums. I won this kit at Convention. This will be the kit featured from August 15 to September 30. The kit contains die cuts, 3 mini albums, ribbon, instructions, mini inks Hollyhock, Desert Sand, Indian Corn Blue, and the new color Sunset and My Acrylix Love This Stamp Set.

There were lots of drawings at Convention. Everyone's name was placed into the drawings for new Fall/Winter product during each session.

The new Idea Book is fabulous. New colors were introduced. A new How To book was introduced and we got to make 2 beautiful layouts from the new book with the new papers, colors and product. Stay tuned for more updates

Blog Improvements

Trying to work on improving my blog. I'm still learning thanks to the wonderful advice from my fellow consultants.

I am planning to work on the Triple Play mini albums this weekend. Hopefully, I will be able to get one finished so I can post in the next few days.

Convention

I went to my first Close To My Heart Convention in Washington DC. It was fantastic. The Convention was held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. The new Fall Idea Book and products were revealed. So exciting. Hopefully, I can put some pics up in the next few days.

This is the view from the 14th floor where our room was. I shared a room with 4 wonderful consultants whom I've never met before. Sandy is from Colorado, Deb from Florida and Linda from Pennsylvania. These ladies are the best. I wished I would have gotten a roomie pic before I left.

I participated in the card swaps. I got some fantastic cards. Wonderful inspiration and incredible artistry. These were the cards I made for the swap. The first uses the July Stamp of the Month Happy Forever and the second features Enjoy Every Moment.
